Perry County, Mo., Implements Simplifile E-Recording Technology
Perry County, MO (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- The recorder’s office in Perry County, Mo., has started e-recording with Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider, offering customers who record documents a faster, more convenient online submission option.
“E-Recording brings many benefits to our customers and provides them with a more efficient, time-saving option to record their documents,” said Perry County Recorder Sue Oster. “This technology allows customers to submit their documents conveniently from their office computer, helping to eliminate paper waste and mailing costs.”
Instead of using the mail or a courier service, Perry County’s recording customers now have the option to log in to Simplifile’s service online and send the electronic versions of their original documents for recording in real time. In minutes, the recorder’s office can review, stamp, record and return the documents back to the submitter.
Document submitters include banks, attorneys, title companies, lien filers, and others who submit land documents like deeds and mortgages for recording.
“We’re excited to be working with Perry County and to have them as part of our e-recording network,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “Simplifile is very easy to use and we provide free training to all those interested in e-recording. All customers need to start submitting their documents electronically is Internet access and a scanner.”
With the addition of Perry County, Missouri now has a total of 48 e-recording counties that have adopted Simplifile’s service.
