Personal Fitness Trainer Company Inducted into Fitness Hall of Fame
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) September 12, 2015 -- National Federation of Professional Trainers, a personal fitness trainer certification company, is presented with the honor of induction into the National Fitness Hall of Fame at the annual awards ceremony in Chicago, September 13th, 2015. The event, which includes more than 100 esteemed health and fitness professionals, educators and enthusiasts, will be a formal event and ceremony for those past and present Hall of Fame inductees.
NFPT has been certifying personal fitness trainers since 1988, for over 27 years. Ron Clark, founder of National Federation of Professional Trainers, studied at Saddleback University in Mission Viejo, CA while stationed at Camp Pendleton serving in the Marine Corps from 1975-1978, until a gunshot wound ended his military career and sent him home to rehab. Ron spent a lot of time in therapy, which soon transitioned into an ‘addiction’ to serious competitive training and bodybuilding. Ron holds NPC, AAU, Mr. Indiana and Mr. Purdue titles and is a retired Firefighter, but his biggest professional accomplishment was being a personal fitness trainer and then going on to building the family business – NFPT.
Today, National Federation of Professional Trainers continues to help fitness enthusiasts get a foothold in the personal fitness training industry – NFPT turns passion to career! For its achievements and professional longevity in the fitness industry, NFPT is being inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame.
The National Fitness Hall of Fame was founded in 2004 to recognize and remember the lifelong efforts of individuals and organizations promoting health and fitness. The NFHOF mission is “To preserve the past while promoting the future of fitness through Education, Motivation and Inspiration.” Ron Clark built the NFPT organization with these same principles in mind: educate, motivate and inspire. His genuine concern for the welfare of others, and professionalism that serves full-time, permeates through the NFPT organization, the NFPT staff and family, and the NFPT family of trainers. These are the principles that have earned National Federation of Professional Trainers an organizational spot in the National Fitness Hall of Fame. NFPT is blessed by this honor and is thankful for its cherished network of professional trainers, friends and colleagues.
