The first franchisee for WisePies Pizza & Salad, Ken Otteni, is a long-time Albuquerque resident and successful, local business man. I am proud to be part of a company that maintains such a strong commitment to the fundamentals of their development.” Otteni opened his first WisePies Pizza & Salad restaurant on his birthday, July 14, 2014, at 6261 Riverside Plaza Lane on the northeast corner of Coors and Montano near Defined Fitness.
As announced on December 1, 2014, WisePies Pizza & Salad solidified their commitment to the community and foundational company growth by making national headlines from securing the naming rights to The University of New Mexico’s University Arena now called WisePies Arena and nicknamed The Pit.
