Pest Exclusion Device for Gable Vents Invented by InventHelp Client (DHM-309)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 18, 2016 -- Gable vents serve the very important function of allowing air to escape from the attic of a home, ultimately reducing the risk of a fire. This is especially important during hot summer months when hot air collects beneath the roof of a home. In order for the hot air to escape the attic, a gable vent must be installed on the exterior of a home. Because of this, pests such as birds and bats often make nests in gable vents.
A home remodeler from Rougemont, N.C., has seen this occur time and time again. He was inspired through his line of work to invent the patent-pending BANDIT BARRIER, a pest exclusion device installed onto gable vents. "I saw a need for a means for preventing pests from entering gable vents, which would ultimately make my job easier," said the inventor.
With BANDIT BARRIER, pests are no longer able to enter the gable vent, therefore eliminating the risk of a nest.
BANDIT BARRIER installs easier than traditional hardware cloths, which are used for the same function and can be installed by any homeowner. Additionally, it does not compromise the appearance of a home.
