Pet Paradise Resort Collects Over 49,000 Pounds of Pet Food in 7th Annual Food For Paws Drive
Jacksonville, FL. (PRWEB) January 11, 2016 -- Pet Paradise Resort collected over 49,000 pounds of pet food in its 7th Annual Food for Paws Pet Food Drive to benefit local animal welfare groups and pet owners in need.
Food for Paws has assisted 14 pet food banks and numerous pet owners who are struggling to feed their pets this holiday season. Local communities brought a little bit of paradise to pets in need by donating a bag of pet food to their local Pet Paradise. Food for Paws was held from November 9 through December 31, 2015.
"We are incredibly pleased with the results of this year's pet food drive donations," Fred Goldsmith, Pet Paradise Resort CEO and Executive Chairman, said. "Our Pet Paradise team is extremely happy that so many people supported such a rewarding cause in our communities."
Pet Paradise has donated more than 171,000 pounds of pet food to numerous animal welfare groups in the United States in the past seven years.
