Pet Power Couple Petrendologist Charlotte Reed & Michael Fleck, DVM, Judge and Report LIVE From Fantasy Fest’s Pet Masquerade and Parade in Key West, Florida
New York, New York (PRWEB) October 14, 2014 -- Ever entered your furry or feathered friend in a costume contest? On October 22, 2014, Petrendologist Charlotte Reed and Michael Fleck, DVM, will judge one of the 40 masquerade contests put on during the 10-day Fantasy Fest celebration… but the only one put on for pets! With costumes ranging from pet-only to pet and pet owner duos, Reed and Fleck will be privy to some of the most creative and outrageous costumes for pets and people alike!
According to Reed, “Dressing up for the holidays is not just for humans. As part of the family, pet owners ensure that their four-legged friends also look their best. Pet owners enjoy finding the right costume for Fido and Fluffy, taking pictures and sharing them on their social media channels, and participating in pet store contests, community parades, private parties as well as other holiday events. I can’t wait to see what pet owners have come up with!” "But, pet safety always comes first, especially at Halloween," says Dr.Fleck.
From October 17-26, 2014, the most imaginative costume designers descend upon Key West, Florida, to showcase and display their talents at Fantasy Fest. This year’s Fantasy Fest theme is “Animated Dreams & Adventures,” inspired by traditional Japanese anime and other animation. The only family friendly event during the adult oriented Fantasy Fest is the Pet Masquerade and Parade. Designed for domestic “party animals” and their human counterparts, the Pet Masquerade and Parade is a seasonal celebration for four-legged friends and their owners that will take place on October 22, 2014 at 5:30pm on an oceanfront stage at the Casa Marina, a Waldorf Astoria Resort.
Not to worry. Reed and Fleck will be providing LIVE, up-to-the-minute updates and photos of the pet masquerade festivities. Ms. Reed and Dr. Fleck will also host their LIVE national radio tour, "Pet Halloween Trends" from the Sheraton Key West to discuss the best costumes, pet safety, and why we go so crazy shopping for our pets this time of year.
