Peter Basso Associates Acquires Architectural Lighting Design Firm Illuminart
Troy, Michigan (PRWEB) September 09, 2016 -- MEP consulting firm Peter Basso Associates (PBA) has acquired the nationally recognized lighting design firm Illuminart, in an agreement finalized last week. The agreement adds Illuminart’s extensive, award-winning lighting design experience to PBA, bolstering PBA's established lighting design expertise and expanding national and international reach.

In addition to White, Illuminart members Brienne Willcock, HON. AIA, MIES, LC, and Elizabeth Williams join PBA’s certified lighting designer, Darko Banfic, LC, to provide lighting design services as Illuminart, a Division of Peter Basso Associates. Banfic joined PBA in 1996 and the firm began offering architectural lighting design services shortly thereafter.
While Illuminart plans to provide lighting design services on many projects as a supplemental service to PBA's MEP engineering design, they also plan to continue to provide independent lighting design services. “If an architect or owner has already contracted with MEP engineers, we’re happy to have Illuminart work with that team to provide only lighting design on the project,” adds Englehart.
