Members are required to complete a requisite number of jury trials in their career.
The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of 7,000 experienced trial attorneys and judges dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the civil jury trial provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Since 1958, ABOTA has worked to uphold the jury system and to elevate the standards of integrity, professionalism, and civility in the legal profession and excellence in the courtroom.
Damian Dolin, a founding shareholder of Pettit Kohn, is the practice group leader for the firm’s Personal Injury Litigation team. Mr. Dolin has tried numerous cases to verdict including cases involving serious personal injury, product liability, premises liability and wrongful death claims. Bron D’Angelo, a shareholder for Pettit Kohn’s Los Angeles office, has extensive trial experience in the areas of tort, product liability, and catastrophic/wrongful death cases. Bron has obtained excellent results for his clients through jury trials, mediations, and dispositive motions as lead counsel. Bron’s primary practice areas include personal injury and business litigation, including copyright, trademark, and entertainment law issues. He was also selected to the 2017 Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
