PGA Tour Player, Freddie Jacobson Launches Tru Table, the First Ever Protein-Enriched Salad Dressing & Dip
Hobe Sound, FL (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Startup specialty food company, Tru Table, has announced the launch of their flagship line of protein-enriched salad dressings and dips—the first of its kind to enter the market. With 9 to 12 grams of protein per serving, Tru Table dressings have as much protein as 1.5 – 2 large eggs.
The Florida-based company was founded by PGA Tour player and entrepreneur, Freddie Jacobson, and chef Scot Elmore. For more than 25 years, Scot has used high-quality, natural ingredients to create gourmet food at prestigious clubs across the country. Freddie has played golf and enjoyed food all over the world, but it was Scot’s salads that caught his attention. “I knew that other people would love his salads as much as I do”, says Jacobson. “I’m very proud of what we have created at Tru Table.”
Tru Table dressings and dips are made from all natural ingredients and are enriched with whey protein isolate, the purest and most easily absorbed form of whey protein. “We wanted to take something that is usually an indulgence,” says Scot Elmore, “and turn it into something that would add to the salad’s nutritional value. What better way than with protein?”
