Pharmaca Planning Opening of Two New Pharmacies
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) September 07, 2017 -- Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, the nation’s first and largest chain of integrative pharmacies, has acquired Roxbury Pharmacy at 9101 W. Olympic Blvd, in Beverly Hills, Calif., and has signed a purchase agreement with Aaron’s Apothecary at 2338 N. Clark St. in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Pharmaca currently operates two stores in the Pacific Palisades and Brentwood communities of Los Angeles, but this will mark the first location in Chicago.
Transition of ownership for both pharmacies is well underway, with plans for a grand opening of the Beverly Hills Pharmaca on October 7, and the Chicago Pharmaca on November 4.
“We look forward to continuing the excellent standard of customer service that Roxbury and Aaron’s have been providing their customers for so many years,” said Richard Willis, CEO of Pharmaca. “We’re pleased that now we’ll be able to serve an even greater number of customers in the Los Angeles area—and to expand our footprint nationally.
We feel strongly that Pharmaca is a great fit for the Chicago market, where consumers are already interested in integrative health, wellness and natural beauty.”
Pharmaca stores feature a full-service pharmacy, in addition to prescription compounding, specialty medications and in-store immunizations. Pharmaca also offers a broad selection of high-quality vitamins and supplements, natural beauty products and guidance from an expert team of licensed health care practitioners.
“I’m excited to partner with Pharmaca to better serve my customers with both traditional pharmacy offerings and alternative and complementary health care options,” says Greta Goldshtein, current owner of Roxbury.
Aaron Pietrykowski, owner of Aaron’s Apothecary, also looks forward to being part of the Pharmaca team while maintaining his original vision for a more personalized pharmacy experience. “Pharmaca’s strong customer service model is a great fit for this neighborhood and for this pharmacy in particular,” he said.
The opening of the new stores brings Pharmaca’s brick-and-mortar footprint to 28 pharmacies and 2 Pharmaca Wellness & Natural Beauty stores, located in California, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.
