Lawrenceville, NJ (PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- PharmApprove announced today two new principals, Leonard Baum, RPh and Neelu Agrawal, MBA. Baum and Agrawal both work as project leads and join a highly-experience staff of 25 consultants providing pharmaceutical and biotech companies with regulatory strategy, scientific communications, and market access support.
“Leonard Baum and Neelu Agrawal are two exciting new additions to the PharmApprove team,” said President and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Laurie Smaldone. “Last month we announced our strategic partnership with NDA Group, Europe’s leading regulatory, pharmacovigilance and HTA consultancy, and this month we are growing our expert talent, enabling us to better guide life science companies through regulatory approval and market access. Both Len and Neelu have impressed us with the breadth of their knowledge and expertise, and we’re so happy to add them to our proven team of advisors.”
Baum most-recently worked at Bayer’s HealthCare Consumer division as VP of Regulatory Affairs. He also held positions as VP of global RA at Aventis Behring, President and COO of Advanced Magnetics, and numerous positions in regulatory science at BMS/Squibb Diagnostics, Hoechst-Roussel, and Parke-Davis/Warner Lambert. He has over 30 years of leadership experience in global product drug development and regulatory science covering a broad range of prescription and over-the counter (OTC) therapeutic and diagnostic imaging drugs, nutritionals and biologics. Baum also has hands-on and leadership experience in the strategic planning and processing of INDs, NDAs, BLAs and their foreign equivalents, Rx to OTC switch and monographs, and in launching new products with competitive labeling and advertising claims.
Agrawal brings to PharmApprove over 20 years of strategic communication, cross-functional leadership and management consulting. Neelu was previously a Partner at Rosetta, where she worked closely with commercial teams across all stages of product development in over 25 product categories. Her breadth of experience across a wide range of products makes her an expert in market assessment, customer insight development, marketing, and strategic planning. Neelu honed her expertise in management consulting at NCI Consulting and the Boston Consulting group.
“I’m thrilled to join an agency with PharmApprove’s reputation and proven track record as a leader in the scientific communications field. I look forward to assisting a variety of life science companies to bring quality products to market without incurring unecessary costs or delays,” said Baum.
Agrawal agreed: “Especially with the firm’s recently-announced global strategic alliance, PharmApprove is a company on the move. I am thrilled to combine my years of experience with those of my new PharmApprove colleagues to benefit companies bringing vital therapies to patients.”
