Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Attorney, Michael W. Cardamone, Opens Up The Cardamone Law Firm To Exclusively Represent Injured Workers In Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) November 29, 2013 -- Michael W. Cardamone, an experienced Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Attorney, branded as MyPhilly WorkersComp, has opened up The Cardamone Law Firm to exclusively represent injured workers in Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation cases. With offices already open in Philadelphia and Blue Bell, Cardamone's objective is to bring excellence to the field of workers' compensation in Pennsylvania.
"There are many firms who handle workers' compensation cases for injured workers, but not many that focus exclusively in this area of the law," said Michael Cardamone, the owner and founder of The Cardamone Law Firm.
Cardamone is one of approximately seventy-five attorneys across Pennsylvania who represent injured workers, and who is a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section, as authorized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He passed the very first exam of its kind in 2013, recognizing practitioners who have a high degree of experience and knowledge with Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law.
"Injured workers will often find that their attorney handles other cases too, such as social security disability or personal injury. When my clients have these types of cases, I will refer them to a reputable colleague who focuses on that area of the law, while I commit 100% of my time and effort to maximizing my clients' workers' compensation claims," Cardamone added.
Cardamone brings a wealth of experience to The Cardamone Law Firm, having handled Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation cases since he passed the bar exam in 1999. Early in his career, Cardamone was able to represent insurance carriers and employers and he quickly realized it was not for him.
"While I understand that employers and insurers have the right to investigate and defend claims to save money, I had a fundamental, philosophical disagreement with the way injured workers were looked at and the way they were treated and decided to only help injured workers from that point forward."
Cardamone has been named a Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Super Lawyer, "Rising Star" on five occasions by his peers, is rated Superb by Avvo Legal Ratings, and is now a Faculty Member of Lawline.com for whom he presents Continuing Legal Education Courses for other attorneys on practice and procedure in the field of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law. He has already produced two courses, one involving an overview of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Settlement Process and another explaining How to Maximize A Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Case For Injured Workers. He is set to produce his third seminar this winter, concerning How to Present Persuasive Evidence in a Pennsylvania Worker' Compensation Case.
Born in Norristown, Cardamone attended St. Rose of Lima in North Wales where he grew up, went on to St. Joe's Prep, Boston College, and Villanova Law School. He has completed three marathons, and competed in kickboxing tournaments and uses his competitive spirit to help his clients.
"I have always been really competitive, whether in school, sports, or simply playing a board game. I don't like losing and fight really hard for my clients," said Cardamone. "Having handled so many cases over the years, I know firsthand how stressful the process is for my clients and I try my best to not let them be bullied by insurance companies."
