Phoenix Moving Company Announced as Move for Hunger’s Mover of the Month

The Phoenix moving company has delivered more than eight thousand pounds of food to over seven thousand people in the Phoenix metro area, providing those at risk of going hungry with food donated by the community.
Arizona has one of the highest food insecurity rates in the nation, with 19% of residents at risk of going unfed. This means that one in five people in the state are affected by hunger. Beltmann Relocation Group helps see that fewer people go hungry by transporting food and assisting with food drives. They also assist with special events, such as this February’s Dutch Love Day, where over thirteen thousand pounds of food were collected for the Phoenix community.
Move for Hunger partners with moving companies across the country to create a food service program that operates all year. Companies like the Phoenix moving company, Beltmann, pick up unwanted and non-perishable food products from people who are moving away and no longer have space for or need those items, then they deliver them to area food banks. This keeps usable food from becoming waste, helping to keep people from needlessly going hungry.
