Piero Bussani Joins Digital Bridge as Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- Digital Bridge Holdings, LLC, a global communications infrastructure platform, today announced the appointment of Piero Bussani to the role of Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer. Mr. Bussani brings more than 24 years of general counsel and business experience in both the public and private sectors to the company.

Mr. Bussani spent the past 12 years serving in executive roles for companies owned by the Blackstone Group. He most recently served as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President for Invitation Homes, a private company that is the largest owner and landlord of single family homes in the U.S. Bussani joined Invitation Homes shortly following its formation and assisted in overseeing the deployment of $10 billion of capital and the issuance of $6 billion of securitized debt during his three year tenure. Mr. Bussani also successfully established, implemented and managed the company’s Legal, Risk Management, and Corporate Governance departments, as well as the Legal Compliance program.
Prior to his work at Invitation Homes, Mr. Bussani served as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, an owner and operator of luxury resorts in the U.S. and Caribbean. He also served as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Development for Extended Stay Hotels, one of the fastest built hotel companies in history, earlier in his career.

Mr. Bussani earned his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1991, and graduated from The American University in 1987 with a B.A. in International Studies. He is a member of the Bar in New York, the District of Columbia and Connecticut, and he is an Authorized House Counsel in Florida. He also serves on the Board of Directors for CubeSmart, one of the largest owner and operators of self-storage facilities in the U.S.
