The announcement follows the recent recruitment of Hamish Macleod to the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer.
Mike Brooksbank becomes Chief Executive Officer having spent over two years managing Pingar’s United Kingdom and EMEA operations. Prior to joining Pingar, Brooksbank was Managing Director of Kofax UK. Brooksbank has over 20 years’ experience of the enterprise software sector, including several years based in Silicon Valley as EVP Global Sales for Citadon Inc, the SaaS document collaboration company.
Of his appointment to the role of Pingar CEO, Brooksbank says, “With the recent beta release of Pingar’s automated taxonomy generation technology and the company’s well established entity extraction and text analytics API tool set, Pingar has the opportunity to establish a clear leadership position in the expanding sector of text analytics. The opportunity to lead and execute on the company’s strategy is one that I am keen to begin”.
The Board of Pingar Holdings Limited also announced today that Peter Wren-Hilton, the company’s founder and current CEO, was stepping up to the role of Chairman of the Board.
Of his appointment to the role of Pingar Chairman, Wren-Hilton says, “I am delighted with the company’s leadership transition and I look forward to supporting and working with Mike in his new role as Pingar CEO. As Chairman, I will stand back from the day to day operational management of the company to focus on identifying some of Pingar’s core longer term strategic direction”.
