PINK Breast Center Announces Complimentary Community Lecture & Workshop Series
Flemington, N.J. (PRWEB) September 27, 2016 -- PINK Breast Center in Flemington, NJ, announced that they will be hosting a complimentary community lecture and workshop series to provide information in a fun and supportive environment. Speakers will present monthly at PINK Breast Center beginning on September 20, 2016, at 6:30p.m. with open networking starting at 6pm. The lecture series continues through to August of 2017.
Linda Lovero Waterhouse of WSI Web Systems was the first guest lecturer. She gave a presentation entitled "Social Media - The Golf Course for the Rest of Us." The talk taught people how to approach business networking on social media by drawing parallels with the golf course. It demonstrated the frequent overlap in the types of conversations, comments, and connections that can be effective in both settings.
The next guest lecturer is Diane Simovich, who will be speaking on October 18, 2016 from 6:30p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Diane is the founder of BW Nice, a women's business networking and charitable outreach organization that blends the successful building of women in business with helping other women achieve their potential in life and profession. She will be giving a presentation entitled "Making Insurance Sexy," during which she go over major topics such as the Affordable Care Act.
Other speakers in the lecture series include Dr. Michelle Gardner from Family Chiropractic, Michelle Heide from Ameriprise Financial, Gail Kinsey from The Massage Therapy Group, Annie Rossi from Addicted Chic, Leslie Weinman from Live Well Nutrition, Lisa van den Woldenberg from Grape Finale, Judy Gold from Coldwell Banker, and Anne Thorton from MSI Plumbing & Remodeling.
Dr. Lisa Sheppard and Dawn Moore, COPE Certified Health Coach, co-organized the event with a goal of fostering a sense of community. Topics covered extend beyond what might be expected from a women's medical diagnostic imaging center.
