Pittsburgh welcomed the inaugural 2013 event, raising over $150,000 for two successful military nonprofits, the Navy SEAL Foundation and The 31Heroes Project. Key sponsors including Heinz Endowment, PNC Bank, BNY Mellon, and RK Mellon Bank greatly contributed to the support these two nonprofits were able to give back to the military community.
The Travis Manion Foundation joins the Navy SEAL Foundation and The 31Heroes Project in their One Team One Fight partnership for the 2014 event. The One Team One Fight partnership is dedicated to giving back to all military members, including Naval Special Warfare.
Additionally, this year’s event will be accompanied by the 2nd Annual Joggin’ for Frogmen 5k event on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 9am in Schenley Park. The Joggin’ for Frogmen mission is to bring men, women and children together to jog in honor of our Navy SEALs (Frogmen) and all military heroes who have sacrificed their lives for us while protecting our country.
