Pittsburgh Realtor®, Ron Croushore, Named PA Realtor® of the Year
Lemoyne, PA (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- Ron Croushore, owner and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty in Pittsburgh, was presented the Realtor® of the Year Award by Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® on September 12, 2017 in Harrisburg. The state award acknowledges meritorious contributions to the real estate community.
Croushore, a member of the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh for more than 30 years, served as its president in 2006. He has been recognized at the local level with the Distinguished Service Award, the Realtor® of the Year and the President’s Award. He continues to serve on the board of directors and is a major investor in the Realtors® Political Action Committee.
“Ron has been an influential force in the real estate industry and our association,” said PAR President Kathy McQuilkin. “He’s worked to ensure that Realtors® have a voice in important legislative decisions as well.”
Croushore was president of the state association in 2015. He’s served in numerous leadership positions, including district vice president and treasurer, and chaired the Strategic Planning Committee, the RPAC Committee and the Candidate Screening Committee. He was given the Realtor® Active in Politics Award.
A director for the National Association of Realtors®, Croushore also served on several national committees. In 2011, he received the national Leadership Award from RISMedia. In addition, he was named Broker of the Year by his then franchisor, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.
Croushore serves on the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
