CHICAGO (PRWEB) August 23, 2016 -- Pivot Point Consulting, a KLAS ranked leader in healthcare information technology (IT), announced today the hiring of Brett Meyers, MD., MS., Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO), and Frank Siepmann, Senior Cybersecurity Advisor.
“Our company is experiencing rapid growth as healthcare organizations have reached a stage of readiness amplified by changing payment models to refine revenue cycle processes and electronic health record system implementation and optimization strategies,” said Rachel Marano, Pivot Point Consulting’s partner and co-founder. “Against this backdrop, Brett and Frank join us at an exciting time helping customers and prospects embrace two new areas of growth: the transition to value-based care models driving new population health approaches and the institution of enterprise cybersecurity programs aligned with business needs.”
Dr. Meyers brings more than 18 years of clinical technology design, workflow and electronic health record implementation and operational experience in the hospital and payer markets. His previous advisory engagements and positions have included the “big 5” consulting firms, DaVita (now Healthcare Partners Medical Group, Inc.), Bond Technologies, HEALTHvision, Inc. and PacifiCare Health System.
Dr. Meyers’ expertise is specific to solutions and strategies concerning population health, outcomes-based medicine and managed patient cohorts – Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) funded health exchanges. He has led clinical operational and workflow redesign coupled with supporting data analytics, complex case management, clinical decision support and risk adjustment to better integrate clinical care coordination processes.
Siepmann provides strategic consulting support in the areas of planning, implementing and leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs. He brings more than 20 years of progressive experience in the cybersecurity industry holding senior leadership positions at Fortune 100 companies. In 2013, Auerbach Publications published his book titled “Managing Risk and Security in Outsourcing IT Services: Onshore, Offshore and the Cloud.”
Siepmann’s leadership experience includes building and leading the security program for 3M HIS, a healthcare SaaS provider; interim director of cybersecurity at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle; and security officer at CGI overseeing the U.S. commercial operation.
