Pixel8 Celebrates 15 Years (1999 – 2014)
Manchester, UK (PRWEB UK) 28 April 2014 -- It’s been an exciting journey that has seen Pixel8 go from a one man band to a 23 man (and woman) orchestra.
In 1999 Nigel Daws left a glittering career at Manchester United to set up Pixel8, whilst at Manchester United he presided over the introduction of the first internal creative studio. He helped create, design and establish the first official branded Manchester United merchandising collections which became a multi-million pound, worldwide success story.
Pixel8 have built fantastic relationships over the years with clients that have included Interflora, MUFC, Investors in People, Novus Property Solutions (formerly Seddon Property Services), Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Radisson and Electricity North West.
Highlights of the last 15 years include the following;
• Jamie Watson becoming a Partner in 2007 which has resulted in expansion in terms of new clients, new employees and offering, diversifying into digital marketing and software design in various, previously untouched sectors.
• Winning the Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo international brand refreshes. This work is now visible in over 200,000 hotel rooms worldwide. It instigated the birth of Brandit which was created out of the problems identified in the creation of on brand marketing collateral in multiple locations.
• Brandit is the software equivalent of the cream in their coffee and creating it has undoubtedly been a highlight and the Pixel8 team are proud to have brought this groundbreaking piece of web to print software to fruition. It’s been implemented beautifully and with huge success in 150 hotels across the globe so far, spanning 9 countries, 3 languages and 15,000 employees – and they've won lots of national and international awards for it.
The Pixel8 team are determined to raise £15k for Breast Cancer Care so we’ll be putting on events throughout the year including bowls, darts, marathons and more football - all of which equate to basically, just more foolish behaviour.
The end of 2014 will see a huge party to celebrate where they've come from, what they’ve achieved and where they’re going. It goes without saying that they’re really, really proud. Truly humble beginnings, hard graft, enjoying our work, late nights and all nighters – that's the pixel8 ethos. Always has been and always will be.
