Staff also guide families through applying for financial assistance. No matter what their circumstances, Keller advises parents to file all necessary financial aid paperwork, including the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and, if required by the college, a CSS PROFILE.
“Many colleges tie all financial aid requests, including scholarships, into completing the financial aid paperwork. While there are no guarantees the school will award you money if you file the paperwork, you can guarantee there won’t be money if you don’t file it. Plus, submitting the financial aid paperwork is like an insurance policy. What you can pay for college one day may not be what you can pay the next.
