Plastic Ingenuity Launches New Lines of Stock Packaging
Cross Plains, WI (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Packaging manufacturer Plastic Ingenuity may be most famous for its custom packaging solutions for products like electronics and cosmetics, but the company recently debuted a new line of clear stock packaging that it thinks will redefine consumer expectations.
PI has now launched its line of stock plastic food packaging, designed in response to modern consumer interests and priorities. The five different sizes in the stock line share a universal lid and are formed in distinct square and rectangular shapes, which the packaging manufacturer says are representative of larger trends. "Consumers today care about efficiency as much as style," said Rob Helmke, Marketing Director at PI. "These shapes fit better on shelves and in refrigerators, and because they're stackable and share a universal lid, they're easier to ship and store. Ultimately, it gives manufacturers and consumers the experience they're looking for."
Helmke explained that the stock line's modular, contemporary shapes are designed to combine aesthetic value and practicality—for example, the plastic manufacturer molded the packages specifically so they would be compatible with tamper-evident security measures and automated filling equipment. "Our goal with this line was to create something highly functional and deceptively simplistic," said Helmke. "Just like with our custom packaging, nothing is ever as simple as it seems."
As the plastic packaging manufacturer continues its rollout of the new line, though, it can't help but embrace its roots as a custom packaging designer at least a little—they're can take orders for custom-engraved stock packages.
