(PRWEB) August 26, 2015 -- Imagination Playground, LLC, http://www.imaginationplayground.com, creators of the breakthrough play space concept that encourages child-directed, unstructured free play, announced today their partnership with the nationally acclaimed Please Touch Museum to bring creative play to the World Meeting of Families. The international family summit, held every 3 years, will take place in Philadelphia, PA, on September 22 through 25, and is concluded by a visit from Pope Francis.
The World Meeting of Families serves as the centerpiece of the papal visit and will include keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and masses at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. But many other exciting and inspirational activities will be offered as well, including the Youth Congress.
The WMOF Youth Congress, an interactive program designed around building, creating, playing, listening and serving, is divided into modules with catechesis connections. Please Touch Museum and Imagination Playground allow the children to collaborate with new friends from around the world to build creations of their own design out of the architecturally big blue blocks. The WMOF Youth Congress has a universal design and is accessible to all young people ages 6-17, who are registered and attending with their family.
“We are thrilled to participate in this world-wide family gathering, and are excited to bring our creative play benefits to the children and their families. We have long been Partners in Play with the Please Touch Museum and immediately responded to their invitation to join in on this historic event,” shared Dave Krishock, President, Imagination Playground.
He went on to say, “The World Meeting of Families and the visit of Pope Francis is a global event, with participation from over 150 countries. We are excited to share the benefits of Imagination Playground blocks with children from all over the world. Play is universal.”
For those attending the World Meeting of Families, the Imagination Playground area can be found at the Youth Congress, Hall F, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street, in the heart of downtown Philadelphia.
