PLITZS Fashion Marketing Charlotte Hosts Runway for Peace Charity Fashion Show at the AvidXchange Music Factory Benefiting Heal Charlotte
Charlotte NC (PRWEB) April 19, 2017 -- Runway for Peace will feature fashions from 18 creative designers and artists from around the region and the country and, will showcase everything from kids fashion to couture. Guests will also enjoy a special show each evening featuring models wearing artistic and fashion-forward 3-D printed technology sponsored by UNYQ, a cutting-edge design company new to Charlotte which has innovated fashionable prosthetic covers for amputees and spinal bracing for children and adults with a curvature of the spine.
Attendees are invited to network with designers and special invited guests including, the guest host for Saturday night, WSOC-TV news anchor, Brittney Johnson. There will be a VIP and press reception each night prior to the show as well giveaways, music, and inspiring messages presented through video and guest speakers.
Runway for Peace is special because it carries a positive message of the city's need for change, and inclusion, regardless of race, religion, gender or physical challenges” states Anthony Simons, the event’s organizer. At a time when images of violence play out daily on TV and in social media, it becomes evident of the need to come together in order inspire change for the future generation. Proceeds from Runway for Peace will benefit the Heal Charlotte Dream Academy Day Camp, a non-profit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of youth by providing them with mentors and positive role models and, helping them to achieve educational success as well as explore and develop their unique talents, interests, and goals.
