Point 2 Point Global Security, Inc. Names Ray Schroeder As Chief Financial Officer And Sarah Ward As Controller
Phoenix, Maryland (PRWEB) September 21, 2015 -- Point 2 Point Global Security has announced that will Raymond Schroeder will assume the role of CFO. Ray has served as Controller for Point 2 Point since August 2013, and has over 11 years of professional experience.
As CFO, Ray will continue to be a part of the Executive Leadership Team at Point 2 Point, and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including financial reporting and analysis, internal control structure, and contributing to the strategic corporate vision.
Prior to joining the Point 2 Point Executive Team, Ray spent the first 5 years of his career as an Audit Manager with a national accounting firm, specializing in audits of privately held companies and employee benefit plan engagements. From there, he moved on serve as Chief Financial Officer, and ultimately Chief Operating Officer, of an e-commerce company where he played an integral role in the company’s infrastructure development and growth.
Ray is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a BSBA degree in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Ray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
As Ray assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer, P2P brings a well-respected and versed member of the company to the Leadership Team as the new Controller, Sarah Ward.
Prior to her tenure with Point 2 Point, Sarah has a combined 17 years in the financial management field, previously holding the title Director of Finance at an Orthopedic and Rehabilitation center. Since 2013, Sarah has held the role of Senior Accountant, managing cash flow, overseeing accounts payable, and assisting with the development of financial policies and procedures to help accommodate the company’s tremendous growth.
In her new role as Controller, Sarah will be responsible for leading the overall Accounting/Finance function of the company, under the direction of CFO, Ray Schroeder.
Sarah is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a second degree in Financial Management from South University.
