Polaris Partners Augments Investment Team, Promoting Paulina Hill and Hiring Dan Lombard
Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 17, 2015 -- Polaris Partners today announced the promotion of Paulina Hill and the hiring of Dan Lombard, both as Principals of the firm based out of the Boston office.
Paulina joined Polaris Partners in 2011 after completing her postdoctoral fellowship in in the Chemical Engineering Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the direction of Dr. Robert Langer. At Polaris, she has served as a Senior Associate and currently sits on the boards of Arsenal Medical, Faraday Pharmaceuticals and KinDex Pharmaceuticals. Paulina is also actively involved in the startup ecosystem in Cambridge, serving as a board member of The Capital Network and a Coach for the MIT Community Catalyst Leadership Program. In her role as Principal, she will continue to invest as an integral member of the Polaris healthcare team.

Dan Lombard comes to Polaris from H.I.G. Growth Partners where he focused on software, Internet and tech-enabled business services. He previously worked at the private equity firm Symmetric Capital and in the investment banking division of Bank of America. Prior to starting his business career, Dan played professional ice hockey. He will be investing as part of the Polaris technology team, with a focus on later stage opportunities.
