Police.us.org To Allow People To Store Their Records On Their Servers
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Police.us.org is updating their system so that when someone buys a public criminal records background check it is stored on the site indefinitely, the company announced yesterday.
“In the past, we've given our customers instructions on how to print out their background checks and save them on their desktop or mobile device,” a Police.us.org spokesman said. “But we've learned that's not enough. If someone's computer crashes, it can destroy the report. And things that are printed out can easily be lost. Therefore, we feel that having a place to store the reports online is an essential service for our customers.”
After consumers purchase a report, they will be given an official login and password. Then, if they want to reference their report again they simply need to sign in and it will be available to them, he said.
“This is a service that people clearly want,” he said. “We've gotten many calls to our customer service department demanding it. So, we made it a priority for our IT staff to update our system to make this possible. Now it is – and we expect to get a positive reaction from the effort.”
People will be able to re-save the report to their computer or print it out again if they need to, he said.
“The goal is to make sure that people can review their reports in whatever place or format they want to,” he said. “Once they buy it, they deserve all-inclusive access to it.”
