Police.us.org to Create Guidebook on Interacting with Police Officers
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- Police.us.org is releasing a guide on how to deal with police and other authority figures in order to lessen the chances of escalating a given situation, the company said yesterday.
“As a service that lets people access arrest records and other background information, we see a lot of instances where people get into trouble simply because they didn't follow a police officer's instructions,” a Police.us.org spokesman said. “With this guide, we're hoping that we can help people get out of those situations peacefully.”
Police.us.org is working with current and former law enforcement experts in order to make the guidebook as comprehensive as possible, he said.

The guide will be published in the members' area of the website, and certain sections will be highlighted on the company's blog, he said.
“We always have our focus on our customers,” he said. “They are our number one priority. But if we can help keep even one person from being arrested because of a stupid mistake with a police officer, then the information deserves to be public.”
