(PRWEB) August 12, 2015 -- Polski Domek, a new online social media network that unites Polish communities around the world, is announcing new features on its site. Users may now follow members and receive their updates on their news feeds, such as photos, videos, music, status updates, blog posts and classified ad postings. They may also use #hashtags and @mention other users on their news feeds.
Other new features include a World News section, where users may share news articles on their news feeds and start discussions. Webmasters may also add a Polski Domek “share button" to their websites, making it easier for visitors to share their content on the social media platform.
“Polski Domek has the potential for information, such as the news, videos, music, and photos, to go viral among the Polish community,” said Gregory Rzeczko, one of the site’s creators. “There are no websites for Polish communities that are like it and we hope to change that.”
Though the Polski Domek site was traditionally written in Polish, English-language speakers may also use it by clicking on the “English Version” navigation button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. The site, which is still in beta testing, is now built around Polish – English and English – Polish language pairings, allowing Polish users from around the world to connect with each other, despite language or location barriers.
About Polski Domek:
Launched in April 2015, Polski Domek was created in hopes of connecting Polish friends, families, colleagues, classmates and more from around the world. By sharing various posts, such as photos, videos, status updates and news, creator Gregory Rzeczko hopes that it will become like the Facebook of the Polish community, allowing Polish updates and news to go viral on a global scale.
