Polycom Extends the Group Series with New Video Conferencing Systems

The Convene’s integrated stereo speakers and the camera’s built-in microphone mean that no external audio equipment is necessary.
All of the video conferencing system’s components are together in one streamlined solution. Place the Convene on a tabletop or use the optional wall mount. The Convene also includes a cable management system to cleanup any loose cords from connected devices.
In addition to the Group Convene, Polycom has also released the new Polycom Group 310 video conferencing system. The system is available in bundles with the EagleEye IV 12x, EagleEye IV 4x or EagleEye Acoustic camera for rapid deployment.
What the Polycom Group 310 brings to the table is direct content sharing capabilities. Unlike the similar Group 300 system, the new Group 310 supports content sharing through HDMI and VGA from a laptop or computer, as well as the Polycom People+Content IP application.
