Popular Mascot Troupe Tours the East Coast This Weekend
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- The touring group, featuring funny characters such as Yao Flamingo, Mario LeMule, Harry Canary, and Lebronco James, announced they will be performing for the first-time ever at the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 23rd at 3 P.M., for the women's basketball game against #5 ranked powerhouse Notre Dame.
Dominic Latkovski, Owner, talks about the tour, "We love performing in front of crowds for big games when the pressure is high and the energy, even higher!"
On the way to Philadelphia, the group will make a Friday night stop in West Virginia, at the Wheeling Fantasy and Lights Parade. It will be the fourth consecutive year the ZOOperstars! have been the special guests in this holiday parade, which winds through the streets of downtown Wheeling, beginning at 6:30 P.M.
On Sunday, that same group of ZOOperstars! will be making their first National Basketball Developmental League appearance of the new season in Portland, Maine, where the Maine RedClaws will host the Erie BayHawks at 1 P.M. It will be the group’s 3rd straight year performing for the RedClaws.
Another crew of ZOOperstars! will be appearing on Saturday morning at the St. Jude Give thanks. Walk., which is being held at 8:30 A.M., at the Louisville Zoo, to raise money for a great cause.
Those same performers will hit the road on Sunday, when they head to Cincinnati for the afternoon Shalom Family Hanukkah Event at the Mayerson Jewish Community Center.
