Populous Unveils Showroom for Martin Brattrud at NeoCon 2015
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) June 11, 2015 -- With Populous behind the design, Martin Brattrud’s NeoCon showroom will be both playful and sophisticated, providing a new look in 2015. The manufacturer of hand-crafted seating and table solutions has worked with global interior design and architecture firm Populous on the design of this year’s showroom at the annual expo and conference.
The showroom will display Martin Brattrud’s latest collections, complete with areas to meet, work, play and rejuvinate, with versatile pieces that range from playful to elegant. The showroom showcases Populous’ experience designing high-end hospitality spaces in some of the world’s most beloved facilities. Together, Martin Brattrud and Populous work to develop custom solutions for spaces that create authentic experiences for visitors.
“The Martin Brattrud showroom is the convergence, in many ways, of Populous’ experience designing powerful hospitality spaces and Martin Brattrud’s diverse capabilities and hand-crafted solutions. We really looked to the collection and core strengths of the firm as the canvas and inspiration for the design, utilizing bold color and graphics to create a more immersive showroom design,” explains Adam Stover, Principal and Interior Designer at Populous. “Over the past decade, we’ve worked closely with Martin Brattrud and trusted them to create unique pieces that have become the focal point of high-end spaces. It’s critical as we continue to set trends that we have access to custom solutions that create authentic and experiential lifestyle solutions for visitors.”
The showroom will feature an overhead wrapping banquette as the focal point of the space. Bar stools will take a front row, displayed artfully in portals, showing the breadth of offerings. The design aimed to intermix Martin Brattrud classics with new product launches, all finished in bold new colors and a playful upholstery palette.
“The opportunity to work with Populous on the complete redesign of our showroom space in the Mart for NeoCon 2015 was fluid from start to finish,” said Tim Penczar, Vice President of Sales at Martin Brattrud. “Our long term relationship and experience working together on projects was pivotal and can be seen in the design and flow of the space. The design team used their knowledge of the craft of Martin Brattrud and our manufacturing capabilities to showcase what sets us apart and the result is definitely something people will be talking about at the show.”
