Port of Kalama Appoints New Facility Safety and Security Officer
Kalama, Washington (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- The Port of Kalama has appointed Erik Swenningson to the role of facility safety and security officer. Swenningson will assist in managing security systems for the Port, its docks, marinas, buildings and facilities. He is also responsible for work place safety regulations and procedures.
Prior to joining the Port of Kalama, Swenningson served as an investigator for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, as a reserve police officer in Kittitas County and as a private sector security supervisor. After serving in the US Marine Corps, Swenningson trained with the Washington State Police Academy through the Criminal Justice Training Commission.
