Portable Bug Catcher Invented by InventHelp Client (VIG-155)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 04, 2015 -- While many people enjoy the outdoors, they would be quick to acknowledge the annoyance and sometimes discomfort from bug bites that come with the territory. Fortunately, an inventor from Parksley, Va., has discovered how to avoid flying insect attacks without having to go indoors.
He developed a prototype for the patent-pending DEER FLY HAT BAND to protect the wearer against bites from deer flies and other flying insects. As such, it traps the insects and prevents them from flying around a person’s head. As a result, it enhances comfort and safety during outdoor activities. At the same time, it is easy to apply, remove and discard. Furthermore, it is lightweight, portable and disposable. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, its simple design minimizes production and packaging costs.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “When I was doing yard work, I had to constantly keep fighting off attacks from deer flies,” he said. “It was particularly annoying since they kept flying around my head.”
The original design was submitted to the Virginia Beach office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
