Postgraduatesearch.com Launches Internet TV Channel for Postgrad Students
London (PRWEB UK) 12 July 2013 -- A new postgraduate internet TV channel featuring interviews with leading academics at UK universities has been launched by Postgraduatesearch.com, an internet platform owned by Hotcourses Ltd. The online channel, known as pgsTV, offers prospective students insights into the various postgraduate departments at which they may one day choose to study.
The internet TV channel provides thousands of interviews with heads of departments, lecturers, and course leaders in which they discuss areas of research they are engaged in, what makes their department different and what prospective postgraduates might experience through studying with them. In addition, they offer students advice and guidance on their application, the skills they’ll learn while studying, and the career prospects that await them upon graduation. Its in-depth subject approach acknowledges that the decision to apply to a postgraduate course is largely department rather than university-led. As such interviews with academics about their research and their department strengths is the channel’s focus.
Every week the Hotcourses pgsTV team visit departments at universities up and down the country interviewing academics, with the aim of providing interviews with all 3,500 university departments in the UK. Once complete, each interview is edited and sent live within a week of being filmed so that the content is kept current.
