Potomac Seniors Village Announces New Additions to the Management Staff
Potomac, Maryland (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Potomac Seniors Village is proud to welcome two new and bright faces at the assisted living Bethesda center. The facility has added two energetic, warm, and highly experienced members to the management team. With the new additions, the facility is excited to take on new ventures in ensuring the quality of care received at Potomac Seniors Village is even greater so that residents can continue to live a happy and comfortable life at the facility.
Potomac Seniors Village is proud to welcome Ms. Melissa Carter as a new Assisted Living Manager. Melissa has twelve years of experience with a background in health services management and office administration. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Technician, she has also worked directly with the elderly by providing compassionate and quality care. Melissa has been working hard to institute new policies and procedures to continue to better resident care at the senior care Maryland center.
Mr. Kaushal Chauhan has also joined the facility as an Executive Manager and is responsible for all aspects of office management and administration. He has more than twenty years of experience with a background in business administration and public administration. Kaushal has worked in several hospitals and other health care facilities to ensure the highest quality of care. He is a very hardworking and caring individual who strives to promote and maintain the overall well-being of residents.
The new management team is implementing new policies and procedures for the residents and their families. They will be holding quarterly resident family conferences so that families are consistently informed about overall condition of their loved ones. In addition, a new set of activities are being instituted for the residents to maintain and improve their physical and mental health. Residents are also encouraged to participate in choosing the menus for lunch and dinner on a daily basis, this helps promote independence. The residents of senior care Maryland facility will be exposed to all aspects of continuing care. Residents’ families and friends are welcome at any time during visiting hours, which are from 10 am to 7 pm every day. Special arrangements can also be made to accommodate loved ones at the assisted living Bethesda facility.
New additions are being made to the medical policies. A Certified Medication Technician will be available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, which allows residents to feel safe in case of any emergencies. The team has also begun working closely with a company that will provide high-level physician services and patient care at the assisted living Bethesda center. This allows residents to receive quality medical care without leaving the comfort of their environment. All residents are encouraged to utilize this service, however if they choose to, they may also continue to use their own private doctors.
Potomac Seniors Village’s main goals are for its residents to experience a home-like environment in a resort-style setting and receive care that is unmatched by an institutionalized health care centers. Residents’ independence, privacy and overall well-being are the paramount concerns. The senior care Maryland center strives to maintain and continue to provide a warm and caring environment for residents so that they can comfortably age in place.
