Power of Forgiveness and God’s Punishment Revealed in New Nonfiction
Westbury, N.Y. (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Seasoned hospital executive Dr. Gregory Calliste publishes his first book, titled “Forgiveness: The Key to Overcoming, Progressing and Succeeding.” In this new nonfiction, the godly principle of forgiveness and its benefits of progress and success that most people desire but, unfortunately, not enough achieve are demonstrated. Instead, too many people are struggling, failing and defeated in spite of tremendous dedication and effort. The key may hinge on one simple word: “Forgiveness.”
God has commanded that people forgive and forgo vengeance. The biblical principle of forgiveness is stressed in the Old and New Testaments and numerous examples are cited to illustrate God’s rewards for those who obey this command to forgive. Conversely, numerous examples are also cited that demonstrate God’s punishment for those who ignore his command and inflict their own punishment on their adversaries.
Calliste reveals how his decisions to obey God’s command to forgive others unconditionally have produced positive results for him and negative consequences and even serious punishment for his opponents. Despite his tremendous accomplishments as President/CEO of a hospital, four members of the Board of Directors and a few employees conspired and tried to terminate him. However, their efforts failed because of God’s intervention.
Calliste is a “fighter” by nature, but he forgave them fully. The resultant rewards make a convincing case for choosing forgiving over avenging. The Board and the hospital’s misfortunes after he left reinforce his conclusion that God’s punishment is much more potent than man’s. Now, like many biblical characters, he is enjoying the benefits and shares them in “Forgiveness: The Key to Overcoming, Progressing and Succeeding.”
