Power Showers Maker CINTEP Selected As Collaborator And Presenter At CleanEquity Monaco 2014
Brisbane, Australia (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- Identified by a panel of experts as one of the world’s leading companies in environmental technology, power showers maker CINTEP has been chosen as presenter and collaborator at the recently concluded CleanEquity Monaco 2014.
The event, an annual forum where emerging cleantech and resource efficiency companies from all over the world converge with specialist financial investors, corporate venturers and acquirers, policy makers, end users and media, was held this year on March 27-28 at the Sporting d’Hiver, Monaco. It was hosted by Innovator Capital, the London-based specialist cleantech investment bank and it counts Prince Albert II of Monaco as one of its primary supporters.
CINTEP is among at least 25 companies who are known as emerging cleantech leaders in the world today. These companies focus on creating, developing and distributing products and innovations powered by disruptive technologies that offer solutions for addressing water, energy and sustainability issues faced by people around the globe.
The CleanEquity selection committee chose this year’s presenters following the identified core criteria: Management leadership and experience, exceptional technology with world relevance, robust and verifiable intellectual property, excellent revenue potential and a maximum €300 million market cap or pre money valuations.
CINTEP CEO Nick Christy said being given the opportunity to present at CleanEquity Monaco 2014 will have a significant impact to their work of actively seeking distributors as well as investment funding to make their energy- and water-efficient electric showers more accessible to more people all over the globe. “It’s a huge privilege to be selected to present and will help us bring better, more efficient, digital showers to the world, next year,” he said.
The Brisbane-based company is considered a major shaker in the global shower industry with their introduction of their revolutionary shower systems that offer a remarkable reduction in water and energy consumption as well as CO2 emissions compared to traditional systems. CINTEP showers also cut running costs by 70 percent, without sacrificing the water flow rate at the showerhead.
Mr. Christy explained how an average household using CINTEP showers could enjoy cost savings while contributing to conserving the world’s non-replaceable resources: “The average person uses 80 litres of water per shower per day, which equates to 100 tonnes of water per family of four every year, just for showering. The Recycling Shower system reduces water and energy usage to 20 litres per shower or 30 tonnes per family each year.”
Successfully marrying sustainability and modern efficiency, the digital shower system of CINTEP features touch screen controls, personal presets and remote control functions. The digital control system is Internet-ready and enables real-time, two-way communication with building management systems. It also addresses common problems of traditional showers by ensuring precise temperature and flow control, preventing cold water on startup, and the provision of unlimited hot water independent of a hot water system.
The CINTEP team has received acclaim across leading local and international organisations and award-giving bodies through the years. In 2011 they won the Green Challenge, dubbed as the world’s largest CleanTech competition, and have received a $0.8million-grant from the Australian government. They have already earned $1.8million in funding, and are on the fast track to attract more investors as they prepare for the CINTEP shower market release in early 2015.
