Power Tread First Ever Multi Power Unit Featuring Non-pneumatic Tires
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- October 1st, at AREMA 2013, HIPPO Multipower Systems unveiled its long awaited HIPPO Power Tread. The successor to the Power Track, the Power Tread now comes equipped with Polaris® Defense TerrainArmor™ Non-Pneumatic Tires.
Polaris® Defense TerrainArmor™ Non-Pneumatic Tires have been created to absorb terrain similar to pneumatic tires while also sustaining damage and maintaining operability. These tires have been tested to perform for more than 1000 miles with railroad spikes driven directly through them, and more than 350 miles after being shot with a .50 caliber rifle.
