Prague the Site of SAE International 2015 Conference on Icing and De-icing Systems for Aircraft
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) February 12, 2015 -- SAE International announces that Prague, Czech Republic, will be the site of the “SAE 2015 International Conference on Icing of Aircraft, Engines, and Structures.” The meeting will be held June 22-25, 2015 at the Hotel International Prague.
The “SAE 2015 International Conference on Icing of Aircraft, Engines, and Structures” provides participants the highest-quality technical program focusing on meteorology, aircraft icing systems, and ground de-icing operations. Governmental agencies will use this as their platform to discuss critical studies and new developments in icing and deicing standards.
This conference also offers a forum for the aerospace community to meet and discuss the newest regulations governing aircraft icing operations. The latest technologies and systems designed to de-ice, and anti-ice (keep ice from forming on an aircraft) will also be discussed, along with the current and future challenges, and upcoming opportunities within industry.
The critical issues of discussion at this year’s event include:
• Ice Crystal Formation
• Ground Icing Studies
• Aircraft and Engine Inflight Icing
• Environmental Icing Meteorology
• Deicing
This event is strongly supported by the AC-9C, AC-9, and G-12 standards committees, and key governmental organizations in the icing/deicing industry – NASA, FAA, and EASA – which provide valuable input regarding the technical program.
