Premier Pain Management Centers of New Jersey Now Offering Three Effective Types of Epidural Steroid Injections
Nutley, New Jersey (PRWEB) January 26, 2015 -- The New Jersey pain management doctors at the Premier Pain Management Centers of NJ are now offering three effective types of epidural steroid injections. With the addition of transforaminal epidurals, the success for relieving pinched nerve pain is exceptional. Call (844) 2NJ-PAIN for more information and scheduling.
For decades, epidural steroid injections have been very helpful in helping patients achieve relief from sciatica and spinal stenosis. Dozens of studies have evaluated their effectiveness, and the vast majority have shown anywhere from 75-90% success. Often times, they are performed as a series by the Board Certified pain doctors in Nutley, Edgewater and Cedar Knolls.
The newest type of epidurals, known as transforaminal, are able to place the medication directly at the point where the nerve root is being pinched. This provides optimal relief. If several nerve roots are being pinched due to spinal stenosis, then the caudal type of epidural is able to provide relief at multiple areas at the same time.
The epidural injections are all provided via outpatient care and there is very little associated risk. For sciatica, there are several additional treatment options available at the Centers.
There are currently three locations for treatment including Nutley, Cedar Knolls and Edgewater. Treatment for all types of pain conditions including sciatica is available, with most insurances being accepted. Call (844) 2NJ-PAIN for more information and scheduling.
