Premium Retail Services Doubles Down in Bentonville
SAINT LOUIS, MO (PRWEB) March 17, 2015 -- Premium Retail Services (Premium), a St. Louis-based provider of retail assisted sales, associate training, merchandising and field marketing is investing heavily in its partnership with Walmart and the Walmart supplier community by expanding into a new Bentonville office. There, Premium’s team will focus on growing and strengthening Premium’s presence in Northwest Arkansas. As part of this investment, Premium welcomes Luke Macken to the team as Vice President of Business Development.
Premium’s new Northwest Arkansas Headquarters is a contemporary space designed to enable the Bentonville team to more closely collaborate with retail partners. In January, Premium held the office’s grand opening to kickstart an aggressive campaign in Northwest Arkansas to service the world’s largest retailer and surrounding suppliers.
Directed to the office by Hollywood-style search lights, guests were welcomed with a red carpet entrance. Once inside, fare included exquisite appetizers along with hand-selected beers and wines. Members of the Premium leadership team traveled in from across the country to greet clients and christen the new office, welcoming over 100 guests from the supplier community. The event was a smashing success.

Part of the grand opening’s success was thanks to Premium’s new business development executive, Luke Macken (Macken). Born and raised in the Bentonville, AR area, Macken brings considerable retail relationships and expertise. Prior to Premium, Macken spent the last seven years in customer-facing roles at VF Corporation, Gigwalk and Shopper Events.
During Macken’s most recent role as Sr. Director of Business Development at Shopper Events, he identified, built and launched retail merchandising and multicultural offerings inside a mature business model while also identifying key growth platforms. Macken has a long-standing, successful relationship with Walmart and is a respected, knowledgeable retail professional who has quickly made a name for himself at Premium’s Bentonville Headquarters.
