PresenceLearning Wins a Glassdoor “Best Places to Work 2016” Award
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- Providing high quality, online special education services to students nationwide is just one area in which PresenceLearning excels. Another is building and nurturing a workplace that inspires creativity and rewards initiative. Today, PresenceLearning received a coveted Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award as one of the Best Places to Work in 2016. The Employees’ Choice Awards program, now in its eighth year, relies on unsolicited input from employees via Glassdoor, the fast-growing job and recruiting site. PresenceLearning is ranked #8 out of 50 winners in the Small to Medium Business (SMB) category.
“Every day we hear stories from school administrators, parents, and students about how our dedicated team members help kids overcome their educational challenges,” said Clay Whitehead, co-founder and co-CEO of PresenceLearning. “We all find this work both challenging and rewarding, and at the end of the day our team heads home knowing they have improved the lives of thousands of individual students. How lucky are we to be able to do that?”
The Best Places to Work winners are determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between November 3, 2014 and November 1, 2015. To be considered for the SMB category, a company must have fewer than 1,000 employees and have received at least 25 company reviews from U.S.-based employees during the window of eligibility. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
