Preservica low-cost Digital Preservation pricing now available via G-Cloud 5
Washington, US and Oxford, UK (PRWEB UK) 4 June 2014 -- Preservica, part of the Tessella group, and a world leader in digital preservation technology, research and consulting, has announced that its low-cost Cloud Edition price plans are now also available to UK Government agencies via the G-Cloud 5 framework as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in the CloudStore. The announcement reflects the growing demand for a simple and cost-effective way of preserving government records, archives and other digital content for the long-term, and comes off the back of a recent report commissioned by the UK National Archives into Cloud Storage and Digital Preservation* that outlines a number of case studies of government organizations already using the cloud and Preservica’s technology for digital preservation - including the UK Parliament and the Dorset History Center, part of Dorset County Council.
