Prestige Lexus Prepares for New SUV Models: Redesigned GX and LF-NX
Ramsey, N.J. (PRWEB) September 20, 2013 -- Lexus has redesigned the GX luxury SUV for 2014, and it will be available at Prestige Lexus in the coming weeks. Executives at Prestige are also excited for the LF-NX concept vehicle, which recently debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and could join the range of Lexus models as soon as next year.
The aggressive exterior of the 2014 GX now features a striking interpretation of the Lexus spindle grille, along with standard LED headlights and daytime running lights. New interior trim options are available, along with a multitude of technological upgrades, including a new touch-screen display with HD Radio™, Bluetooth® audio, vehicle information display, and complimentary traffic and weather.
The all-new Lexus GX also promises added value, as the price of the base model has been reduced by nearly 9 percent, according to a news release from Lexus. A new Premium Package will be available with added features like perforated leather-trimmed interior, heated and ventilated front seats, navigation with backup monitor, and Intuitive Parking Assist. The all-new, top-of-the-line GX 460 Luxury model includes Adaptable Air Suspension, Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and 18-inch wheels with liquid graphite finish.
“When it comes to luxury, style, and capability in an SUV, it’s tough to beat the GX 460,” said Joe Billotti, general manager at Prestige Lexus. “The updated look of the new model is equal parts modern, rugged, and refined, and I’m sure our customers are going to love it.”
Last week, Lexus introduced the LF-NX, a premium compact crossover concept that could slot beneath the brand’s popular RX SUV. The LF-NX earned rave reviews at the Frankfurt Motor Show for its uniquely angular, futuristic exterior design, its LFA-inspired, driver-focused cockpit, and its fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain.
“The LF-NX is an eye-catching vehicle with a look all its own, and we can’t wait for it to be produced,” Billotti said. “Since Lexus introduced the RX in 1998, luxury SUVs and crossovers have grown increasingly popular. More recently, the trend has gravitated toward smaller, urban-focused vehicles, so it will definitely be beneficial for us to expand our offerings within this segment.”
