Prestonwood Christian Academy Names New Director of PCAplus Virtual Academy
Plano, TX (PRWEB) July 06, 2016 -- Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) announced that after an extensive search, Dr. Keri Ingraham joined its staff on July 1, 2016, as the school’s new Director of PCAplus. In this role, Dr. Ingraham will be responsible for all aspects of the virtual academy and hybrid programs, ensuring that they continue to operate fully integrated with a Kingdom education philosophy, while moving toward higher levels of unprecedented excellence and innovation.

Dr. Ingraham brings both qualities to this critical leadership role."
Under the leadership of Ms. Tifini Lozano PCAplus has experienced consistent, steady growth during the past seven years. “We not only serve the homeschool community by offering certain courses to them, but we also have online students from around the world taking biblically-based courses on our fully accredited virtual academy,” said Ms. Lozano who was recently announced as PCA's Director of Curriculum and Instruction. As the Director of PCAplus Virtual Academy at Prestonwood Christian Academy, Ms. Lozano has been instrumental in the process for the virtual academy's accreditation through AdvancED®. She previously served on review teams for digital learning accreditation. Ms. Lozano has also participated as a panelist on several webinar's discussing blended learning and best practices in online learning.
Ms. Lozano will be replacing PCA's Senior Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Mrs. Gwen Hobbs, who is retiring at the end of the 2016-17 school year, after faithfully serving in this role for 16 years.
Originally from Seattle, WA, Dr. Ingraham has served in Christian education for the past 13 years including her most recent role as Head of School at Brooklake Christian School in Federal Way, WA. Her extensive experience includes administration, curriculum development, Biblical integration, teaching, coaching, spiritual life leading, program development, and technology implementation.
Dr. Ingraham is passionate about Christian education in both the on-campus and online learning environments. Her experience and education have equipped her to effectively interact with students, their parents, faculty, staff, and board members from Preschool, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Christian Education Ministries from George Fox University, a Master of Education, Christian School Administration from Regent University and a Doctor of Education, Christian Education Leadership from Regent University.
