PRICE® Launches TruePlanning® 2016 Including Major Enhancements
Mount Laurel, NJ (PRWEB) September 13, 2016 -- PRICE® Systems LLC, pioneer in the science of parametric estimating and predictive cost analytics and developer of PRICE® TruePlanning®—the global standard for accurate cost estimating—announce the release of TruePlanning 2016. This release responds directly to customer feedback, where enhancements were focused on improving simple early adoption. The additions and feature enhancements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Start Screen with Project Templates: When launching TruePlanning, project templates, created by PRICE Systems and others, will be presented. These templates contain product breakdown structures (PBS) of both generic systems, and actual systems calibrated to publicly available data, along with mappings to Mil Std 881C WBS and more.
- Documents: Now TruePlanning’s primary method for creating, saving and opening projects is the familiar Windows® document system – no install of the local database is needed.
- Scheduling, Phasing and Government Inflation Indices: Now Phase Sets allow users to have more control over schedule parameters and easily align expenditure profiles to budgeting phases. There are also official Army, Navy, Air Force, etc. inflation indices included in the updated shared Escalation Sets for each phase.
- Interoperability: There are better integrations with PRICE’s TrueMapper® and with other products like PROPRICER™ to increase automation and reduce time.
In addition to these, and many more, enhancements, PRICE has added and enhanced models in TruePlanning including IT Services, Operational Site Activation, Additive Manufacturing and Updated Hardware and Lifecycle Models. These new models and model updates will help users estimate trending technologies and architectures, and address their current focus on IT services, deployments, additive manufacturing, software sizing and other relevant challenges.
Current PRICE customers can anticipate receipt of the TruePlanning 2016 release via mail by mid-September.
