Priceless Art on Loan to Christian Academy
http://caschools.us (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- A private U.S. collector of fine art has loaned several valuable pieces to Christian Academy for use in classroom instruction. Christian Academy is the only school in the region to be loaned these pieces.
Among the pieces on loan are The Raising of Lazarus by Bolswert, circa 1620; Jesus on the Mount of Olives, circa 1900; Hills of Lavender by Keller, circa 1930; the death mask of Sir Walter Scott; a Faberge egg; original Titanic communique, plus several other pieces.
Through these fine art pieces acquired from the great auction houses of the world, students will embark on an incredible journey through art and history. It is the collector’s desire that by loaning these pieces to Christian Academy students will be prompted to explore their own God-given creativity more deeply, enhancing and encouraging their own artistic abilities.
The media is invited to the arts classes where the pieces will be shown and utilized in instruction. The arts classes will be held at the Christian Academy English Station campus on:
• Monday, November 18, 11:30am
• Tuesday, November 19, 12:15pm
• Thursday, November 21, 1:30pm
