PrinterEvolution Launches T Series and D Series High Production Dye Sub Printers at SGIA
Louisville, CO (PRWEB) October 19, 2016 -- PrinterEvolution recently introduced two new high-speed dye sub digital textile printers to rave reviews at SGIA Expo in Las Vegas.
The latest in forward-thinking products, The T Series and D Series are the next evolution in textile printing with faster speeds and consistent, reliable high quality output for a wide range of applications.
The T Series is solely dedicated to transfer sublimation and is available in three sizes: T1800 DS- 74” (1.8m); T2600 DS- 104” (2.6m); and T3200 DS- 126”(3.2m). Coupled with field-upgradable printhead configurations, the T Series can accommodate any size textile production facility looking for efficient direct to paper workflow.
With speeds close to 2x faster than anything comparable on the market today, the T Series features Kyocera printheads that excel at fulfilling high volume industrial requirements and produce beautiful, rich results. The fact that they are field upgradable means there is less downtime and cost compared to factory upgrades.
Adding to its efficiencies, the T Series offers an optional jumbo paper roll, alleviating the need to switch out paper as often and enables sublimation to any substrate. Its advanced media feeding system uses servomotors instead of pinchers and belts, while its multiple drying systems and advanced technology fast-dry the paper for perfect linear drying without defects.
The D Series of printers, in 74", 104” and 126” sizes, features an onboard calender with even heat and pressure, making direct to fabric sublimation more efficient and cost effective. The D Series boasts built-in efficiencies like an automatic turn-off control which will finish the curing cycle and shut off the calender automatically when the printer is unattended, and a high capacity bulk ink system for continuous printing and high ink yields. A cork roller spreads material evenly across the platen while the dancer bar accommodates printing on stretchable fabrics like sports textiles and Power Stretch. A smart trough and sponge system allows users to print on open-weave products like mesh and flag without marking the back with “blow-by” ink. The option of in-line cutting and a variety of printhead configurations produce beautiful images and high volume output on a consistent basis.
Both printers are available in 2- and 4-head configurations, which increase color gamut options as well as speed. The heads are field upgradable so that owners can increase their capacity for color or speed as needed.
“The beauty of these products is that they can accommodate growth and help PSPs develop their businesses in such areas as soft signage, apparel, retail and exhibit and display at a lower cost and oftentimes more efficiently,” said Greg Lamb, president of PrinterEvolution. “We’re excited about the great response we got at SGIA and know these new printers fit the needs of many businesses looking to expand as our industry continues its surge upward.”
