Priority Energy and StreetScape Development Announce Their Next Partnership: 27 Highly Energy Efficient Homes Built to DOE Builders Challenge Level of Excellence
Skokie, IL (PRWEB) February 27, 2014 -- Priority Energy and StreetScape Development, who together won the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Builders Challenge Award in 2013, will partner again to create 27 new “Builders Challenge” homes at Floral Avenue in Skokie, IL. Priority Energy will provide the energy efficiency products and verification services that will enable the homes to meet the DOE’s rigorous requirements for superior indoor air quality, minimal air and moisture leakage, durability and ultra-low utility costs.
A DOE Builders Challenge Home must meet national program requirements in order to achieve this prestigious title. To accomplish this, StreetScape partnered with leading energy solutions company, Priority Energy in Park Ridge. Their expertise and high-performance product line will enable the homes to go above and beyond IECC 2012 building code requirements as well as exceed Energy Star 3.0 standards for air leakage, water management, indoor air quality, and duct sealing.
Priority Energy’s products include EnviroDri, Tuff’n Dri, Aeroseal, Lifebreath Clean Air Furnaces, HRVs, and Intellihot Tankless Water Heaters.
